I am taggingitsasimslife , acrumplebottom , asims3blog , erykahfairy , keenna , leapsbarnes , xoxk9 . Now I know that's not 10, but I'm not extremely social on here and these are the only people I feel comfortable tagging/bothering.
1. Against the laws of nature, I can lick my elbow.
2. I haven't properly played Sims (3) in months.
3. For years I have consistently chewed the insides of my cheeks.
4. In the past 4 months I have gained more weight then in the year before that.
5. Even though according to my dentist I don't need a root canal treatment, it is a fact that for at least 6 months I have not been able to put anything cold near the left side of my mouth without cringing in pain.
6. While I'm 18, I still sleep with my teddy bears.
7. Apparently I have a talent for taking out jeans, since I somehow have ended up with only 2 usable pairs again.
8. My newest sweater and t-shirt are Primark children sizes. They're cheaper, cuter and still fit, so I really don't care.
9. I am pissed of that one of my best friends has decided she can't go on the holiday that we agreed on 2 years ago. It wasn't set in stone or anything, but I'd still counted on it, especially since she came up with the original idea. But now she's going on a holiday with her parents and later on with her boyfriends parents, so she can't possibly afford to go on a holiday with me and another friend. I say, don't go with the parents, you're 19 by the time we're going! Seriously, if I had to choose between a holiday with 2 of my best friends, or a holiday with my parents.. (rant ends here)
10. Becoming an au pair was one of the silliest things I ever did. I suck at not being with my family.

I wouldn't have fallen in love with an ass-hole who broke my heart, instead I would've held out the three days I would actually see him and then be asked out on a date by a great friend who I was starting to crush on. He had 2 great dates already completely planned and I ruined it all by falling in love with a bastard in the three days that I wasn't at home. This would mean that the story about my first love would've been a great one, instead of a pathetic one.
If it was possible I would've gotten my dad to the doctors a lot earlier, so his cancer was still treatable. But we just didn't know.

Fun times! ^^ Also, I am still planning to update the Whiteside family, but right now my au pair being is eating up a lot of my energy, and I've hardly touched the sims since I came here. And it might be a while as well, because right now I'm quite unhappy here so most of my energy is going into fixing that. So yeah..

The thing is that I've been busy becoming an au par. I have finally found a host family and will leave to London this Saturday.
But with the travel-date so soon already I have a lot of stuff to take care of, including getting me a Sims 3-capable laptop. I have managed that and I will have quite some free time the coming 9 months so an update should be ready soonish, yet probably not within this week.
What I do have for you is a tiny teaser;

I'm not going to stick by all the official rules, although I'll try to as much as possible, and I don't know yet if I'm keeping track of points, depends on how difficult that is to me. I didn't read the rules before starting anyway, so already moved my heir to a smaller lot. And added 4,000 to her funds, so she started at 20,000 like all sims 2 families did. I'll move them to a larger lot soon though, as soon as they can afford to, so that part won't be too much cheating.
Besides that I've been doing it by the rules; no cheating or stuff like that. I did let her marry a rich sim, turns out he was only considered rich because he lived in a large house with two more people. So he didn't bring in all that much money. Thus I don't consider that cheating either. ;)

So, I'm obviously new here, and am struggling a bit with working out how everything works. :)
I've recently started playing The Sims 3, and am considering writing about my sim Suzy Richardson, who's engaged to a ghost and had a ghost baby. Thing is, the ghost baby (now toddler) is so darn adorable I don't think I ever want it to grow up, which makes for a rather boring story. xD He's my user pic, playing inside his toy box. Now how cute is that?
Might have to just start another game, and write about that. We'll see.
Anyway yeah, new here. So I'm mainly looking around, getting adjusted, thinking about a journal title, searching for the perfect journal style (which does not exist!) and stalking cpowellscircus (who's journal style is perfect btw) because I love her posts. ^^
